The wedding will be in Maria’s hometown of Ål, Norway.
The ceremony will be at Ål Church at 1 p.m. and the reception will be at Bergsjøstølen Fjellstue, a 30-minute drive from the church.
The nearest airport is Oslo. There is public transport (vy.no/en) from Oslo to Ål. Let us know if you are coming by train/bus and we can try to find a ride from the church to the reception.
Renting a car is probably the easiest. There is parking across the street from the church, and chargers for electric cars are available at the reception venue.
The reception will be at the hotel Bergsjøstølen Fjellstue. Let us know if you would like to stay at the hotel and we will reserve a room for you. Breakfast and sauna is included. Payment on arrival.
Prices per person:
Saturday-Sunday in single room kr 1200.-
Saturday-Sunday in shared room kr 900.-
Friday-Saturday in single room kr 2095.-
Friday-Saturday in shared room kr 1490.-
Friday-Sunday in family room kr 1250.-
Children under 12 half price.
Infants in travel bed or with parents free.
We will have an informal dinner followed by socializing on Friday, November 10, at 6:30 p.m. at Bergsjøstølen Fjellstue for those who are able to join.
If you would like to contribute a song, a short speech, or something else to the reception, let our toastmaster, Joachim Salomonsen, know so that he can plan the program accordingly.
